U2 Top Concert Earnings for 2005

U2 have topped this years earnings list in America for revenue generated from touring and gigs, etc, etc.
U2 took $260million, thats about £145m, an saw around three million fans across 90 different stops on their Vertigo world tour.
The Eagles follow U2 up the behind grossing, in comparision, a rather modest $117m (£65m) doing 77 shows.
Sir Paul McCartney is the fifth highest on the list.
