Oasis are expecting their new single to make a swift impact thanks to its quickfire recording process.
The Manchester rockers release new single 'The Shock Of The Lightning' on September 29, ahead of their seventh album, Dig Out Your Soul.
Talking about the tune, Noel Gallagher told the Daily Star: "If the single sounds instant and compelling, it's because it was written dead fast and recorded dead fast."
Noel and co are currently in rehearsals for their world tour, which starts on August 26 in Seattle, US.
