Pete Doherty Solo Album This Year

Pete Doherty has announced he plans to complete recording his debut solo album this month and release it later this year.
The Babyshambles frontman confirmed in a statement to NME.com he will travel to an undisclosed European studio this month with producer Jake Fior to finish the album, which is now over half complete.
The 29-year-old former drug addict said he will honour all his booked live commitments with Babyshambles, but will not book further gigs until the solo album is finished.
