Beatles Reel-To-Reel Tape Sold For £9,800

A reel-to-reel tape of a Beatles recording which features group members cracking jokes and breaking into giggles has sold for £9,800, an auction house has said.
The half-hour tape, believed to have been recorded in 1964, went under the hammer at Cameo Auctioneers in Midgham, Berkshire.
The item was unearthed in the attic of a man who had worked in the music industry when his son was clearing it out.
The auction house said the son wished to remain anonymous and would only say that the tape was found in the north of England.
