50 Cent Not Quitting Music

50 Cent has reassured fans he is not quitting music.
The rapper insisted his contract had simply ended with his record label, but he would continue to make films and records.
50, real name Curtis Jackson, said: "It's actually the end of my contract - that's what I was saying. I signed a five-album deal. Four album-deal and the fifth album is a Greatest Hits requirement. So this album Before I Self Destruct is scheduled for release in December - December 9 actually - will be the fourth and final album, then they have the rights to release the Greatest Hits.
"While I was actually completing the project I was inspired to write a film, so I wrote, produced and directed my first film, and you'll see it simultaneously released with the record."
