Rasmus Faber - Get Over Here
I'm coming now.
Mr Rasmus Faber is a fine Swedish man, being from the land famous for, well nothing besides Abba, he must know what good music sounds like.
'Get Over Here' is released on two labels, how does that one work, well we've got remixes from Axwell, he is from Sweden too and Sunloverz, they are German, but we'll forgive them for that. Those guys provide the recipe for Azuli Silver whilst Andy Cato cooks up two remixes for Azuli Black.
Axwell provides us with a Club Mix and a Radio Edit, it is an ultra danceable track with a puncy beat and with the extended vocals laid over the top it is sure to be a hit in 'club land' and the 'air waves'.
According to a print out infront of my goggling the Sunloverz remix is the sound of 'French filtered house' whatever the hell that means.
What I can tell you though is compared to the Axwell offering it seems as if the fun has been taken away.
Andy's 303 and 202 remixes has a pounding drum sound couples itself with a sort of muffled electronic sound with distant vocals and the odd cymbal chucked in for good measure.
Axwell's remixes get a big thumbs up, I've been playing it a lot, so they get a 4/5.
The others, they can have a 2/5.
'Get Over Here' is released November 14th.
