Twisted Funk - Raise Your Hands
Got to turn around, I mean raise your hands.

Twisted Funk is your next release from Azuli Black, most likely spelling the end of their 2005, being released early December.

Twisted Funk comprises of Ed Tomlinson (Ed Rockstar), a DJ and Club Promoter and Pete Gleadall - a producer.

Amongst the artist the pair have worked with include U2, George Michael and the Pet Shop Boys.

Pete thinks that music is about you getting your arse onto the dancefloor rather then just creating the "next, coolest, operatic, piece of minimal techno".

After all as they say, if it ain't broke - don't fix it.

'Raise Your Hands' comes to me direct in two variations, Pedro Gonzales and Ed Rockstar 'Sing It' Mix and a 'Raise Your Hands' to the Dirty Dub Mix.

The 'Sing It' mix is the more 'pleasant' of the two, with the 'Raise Your Hands' hook breezing in and out thanks to the all encompasing room-filling echo.

The Dirty Dub Mix is though, as the name suggests much more gritty, relying more on its electronic sound then the happy-drums sound in the 'Sing It' mix.

The track also takes a leaf from the pages of the book that is Phats & Small - Turn Around, although I do believe this track samples two others - but from wherever the sample originates from it gives the track the magic touch it needs.

It also will probably make some people try and mash the two. Don't believe me? You should do. People get bored you know.

3/5.

'Raise Your Hands' is release on Azuli Black on December 5th.

PS: Azuli/Mulitply please don't sue my ass its just a clip!
