Franz Ferdinand - Walk Away
(Don't) Walk Away.
Franz have taken a more mellow and relaxed vibe to 'Walk Away' in comparison to their previous hits, yet somehow manage to salave some key elements from their past hits.
'Walk Away' is one of those hit or miss singles, its been playlisted in the key places yet recieves a mixed reation. It could become the start of the trend that sees the height of BritPop/Indie peak and slowly fall to it's death, commerically at least, for the next 10 years before resurfacing and providing us with the next Franz Ferdinand.
'Walk Away' is probably not going to chart as well as the lead single from the album 'You Can Have It So Much Better...', 'Do You Want To?' because of its lack of a pure commercial sound.
The b-sides are not much cop either, although the acoustic version of 'The Fallen' is the stronger of the two and sees Alex's vocals take control.
