Son of Dork - Eddies Song
The windmill still turning to James.
So, you got a top three hit with a cheesey American Punk/Rock sound, so what's next? Continuez? Perhaps.
'Eddie's Song' the follow-up of course to 'Ticket Outta Loserville' is again part-written by the ex-Busted man, yet again focusing it on female attention - or the lack of it: 'Took 7 girls to his hotel room, takes off all their clothes'. A hint of jealousy in James' eyes here we detect.
We are also provided with the same nosel-powered vocals as featured on all Son of McBusted tracks.
'Eddie's Song' picks up the pace a bit from 'Ticket Outta Loserville', whilst it still stiks of American pop-cheese-rock groups it seems to have gone up a gear, almost verging on the side of a respectable Green Day track.
'Eddie's Song' is similarly a much easier song to rock out to, the powerful chorus in this song is quite a little gem if I do say so myself.
Stomp your feet you will.
So will this second single perform as well as 'Ticket Outta Loserville'?
Well, if I controlled the charts, yes, but I don't see it fairing so well, but definately deserving a top 10 placement.

'Eddie's Song' is released January 16th.
