Fall Out Boy - Sugar, We're Goin Down
Blood levels, we're going up.
You may not have heard of Fall Out Boy, I certainly hadn't until a little while back. But you will probably know about them in the near future, with a little bit of help from Radio 1.
Without a single chart placement at all in the UK they have managed to completely sell out a 10 date tour this month (January). Giving you some idea of how popular this band could be.
They apparently capture a true 'Emo' sound. A genre label reserved for the cool 'goths' as it were. Apparently a tricky genre and style to define. Much in the same way Grime is. Get it wrong and they'll slap you for it. So hopefully I got it right.
'Sugar We're Goin Down' is American, very American, sounding very much like any other American punk-rock track, it doesn't stand out as something special, but once it gets going the chorus begins to sink itself deep into your memory.
Their commercial sound and aurora is on that will probably win them a lot of devotees who are just there for the hype and four lads who they think look hot.
