The old saying 'If at first you don't like that track, listen, listen and listen again' describes this track down to a T.
T for The Streets.
'When You Wasn't Famous' is the lead-in single to Mike's third album, 'The Hardest Way to Make an Easy Living' and he hasn't run out of things to talk about yet.
At first it may fail to grab you, I recall watching the video exclusive on Channel 4 thinking to myself what a car crash this is.
Next listen, it sounds that ever so much better. The sure sign of a quality and long-lasting track, but most of all something that's a bit different from the rest.
With a stomping kick that gets you tapping your foot and a hint of jungle Mr Skinner shows off his production skills once again.
OK it's not songwriting masterpiece, but one James Blunt in this world is quite enough.
So just who is that girl off CD:UK?
